Terms of Use — Compass

By using Compass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply alongside applicable Apple terms and any mandatory consumer protections.

Compass is a travel planning and organization tool. It helps you discover destinations, organize itineraries, map plans, track budgets and keep travel memories. It is not a travel agency, booking confirmation service or emergency service.

You must be legally able to enter into these terms or have any permission required by applicable law. The operator must confirm the intended minimum age and parental-consent policy before publication.

Provide accurate account information and protect the Apple or Google account you use to sign in. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Use Compass lawfully and respectfully. Check your plans before traveling, retain important booking confirmations and ensure you have permission to use information you enter about other people.

You retain ownership of content you create. You give Compass permission to store, process and display that content as needed to provide the service and carry out your sharing choices. You must have the necessary rights to upload images, documents and other materials. Keep your own copies of important travel records.

Collaborators may view or change information according to their permissions. Share only content you are entitled to disclose. Links and QR codes may be forwarded, and recipients may retain exported PDFs or other copies after you stop sharing. You remain responsible for checking changes made to shared plans.

Compass does not guarantee airline schedules, hotel availability, ticket validity, opening hours, travel requirements, visa rules, route safety, prices, exchange rates or transportation availability. Verify bookings and current requirements with airlines, accommodation providers, official authorities and other relevant sources before you travel.

Maps and suggested routes are provided for planning. They are not authoritative navigation, emergency assistance or safety advice. Check local conditions and follow official instructions. Third-party maps, sign-in and other services have their own terms and may change or become unavailable.

Budget and expense features are informational tools. Figures depend on your entries and any available currency information, which may be incomplete or outdated. They are not financial, accounting or tax advice and do not guarantee actual costs or exchange rates.

Compass offers free functionality and paid Compass Pro features. Available plans, included features, subscription periods and prices are displayed before purchase and may vary by region or offering. Review the purchase screen for the terms that apply to your selection.

Subscriptions are purchased and processed through Apple’s App Store. Billing and refund requests are governed by Apple’s applicable policies and your statutory rights. Compass uses RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. Restore purchases is available in the app’s Pro purchase screen.

Some functions may require an active Pro entitlement. Feature availability and limits are described in the app and may change, subject to your purchase terms and applicable law. No future feature is guaranteed by a current purchase unless expressly included in the offer.

Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account’s subscription settings. Auto-renewing subscriptions renew unless canceled in accordance with the terms displayed by Apple. Deleting Compass or your Compass account does not cancel your subscription. Access after cancellation follows the applicable App Store subscription terms.

The Compass software, branding and original service content are protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the app for its intended purposes under these terms and applicable Apple license terms. You receive no ownership of Compass or third-party materials. Your own content remains yours.

Do not misuse another person’s account, upload unlawful or infringing content, harass others, distribute malicious software, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access or subscription controls, or disrupt the service. These restrictions do not limit activities that applicable law expressly permits.

Compass may need maintenance and may experience interruptions. Features or services may change or be discontinued. Where required, notice and any applicable remedies will be provided. Keep independent copies of information you need during travel.

Access may be restricted or terminated for misuse, breaches of these terms or legal requirements. Where appropriate and legally permitted, you will be told why and may contact support about the decision. You may stop using Compass and request account deletion. Subscription cancellation is handled separately through Apple.

To the extent permitted by law, Compass is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every trip. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties or consumer rights.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Compass is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate third-party travel information, your travel decisions or events outside its reasonable control. Nothing excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including rights and remedies that cannot be waived under consumer law.

Mandatory laws and consumer protections that apply to you remain in effect. The operator’s governing jurisdiction and any appropriate dispute-resolution wording must be confirmed before these terms are published.

Revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. Changes do not remove rights that already apply to your purchases.
